Fundación Conciencia works within the most marginalised communities to raise awareness of prevalent issues such as addiction, crime, violence, sexuality and disadvantage in order to improve living conditions and social awareness. They aim to foster a sense of security, inclusion and development in otherwise vulnerable sectors, allowing young people to better themselves and strive towards a better future, for both themselves and their communities.
Fundación Conciencia works in the invasion zone of Nueva Jerusalén, taking care of the nutritional and educational needs of over 350 children every day. They provide food, clean water, and education (such as English classes, and teaching young women about consent and bodily autonomy).
